Jane, speech pathologist received her Bachelors degree in psychology from Centre College and her Masters degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Kentucky. Jane is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Jane has 25+ years of experience working with children, preschool through elementary age, in a variety of settings including numerous public and private schools, including Good Shepherd Day School for close to 20 years, along with other community agencies. Jane's interests include reading disorders, auditory and language processing, ADHD, articulation/phonology, oral motor and early language development. Jane served in the past as a Kentucky First Steps Speech Therapist, Developmental Evaluator and Primary Service Coordinator. Jane also served as a clinical supervisor at Eastern Kentucky University's Communication Disorder clinic. Jane is certified in the Orton Gillingham reading program and Integrated Learning Systems. She enjoys a team approach and collaborating with parents, teachers, psychologists and occupational therapists to best meet the individual needs of each child.
